Where are you from? Where do you live?
I was born and raised in Genoa, where I currently live. However I still
miss London – I lived there in 2009.
How old are you?
Over 29.
How do you pay your bills? Are you working as a professional photographer?
I have been working as a professional photographer since 2010, mainly for
architects and magazines, and I do independent research. I also teach as
an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Engineering in Genoa. To be honest,
all this is not turning me in a rich bitch, but I am positive about the
future.
What cameras do you use?
Now I am really into a Pentax 6×7, heavy and tricky. Then I have my super
heavy Sinar F 4×5” view camera and (my father’s) Rollei SL66. I also use a
Nikon d80 – for now I cannot afford a digital medium format toy.
Any photographer or artist inspiring you?
Tough question! There are many! Above all, I love Luigi Ghirri, he is such
a stepfather for me. His delicacy – both in photographs and thoughts – was
extraordinary. I like Martin Parr, William Eggleston, Stephen Shore…
Well, now I have discovered Jake Stangle: very interesting imagery.
What/who do you enjoy to shoot the most?
Man-altered landscape and old fashioned interiors. I wish I could take
great portraits… I am working on this!
Do you believe in god?
No. I am more into Karma things, the way Earl (My Name is Earl) is.
What do you drink on a night out?
Good wine. A LARGE glass, please.
Do you like dancing?
I am crap at this, but I like it, especially if I do not take it seriously!
What’s your favorite first name?
When I was little I used to love the name Jennifer. Damn, it was in the
Eighties! I like Sara, now.
Are you a fashion addicted?
Not really. However I suffer from shoe-addiction.
What’s your favorite tv series?
Arrested Development.

Unfortunately not.
